ACC Learn

  (NMCSD Cardiology Department Staff Only)  

This comprehensive educational package combines thousands of self-assessment programs and audio files of heart sounds/murmurs to support cardiologists in medical school, through residency, and on into professional practice.

In addition, the ACC Learn mobile app allows users more flexibility to download or stream the ACC CardioSource Plus modules they’ve started using. Users can continue SAP courses where they’ve left off, keep reading and viewing Meetings On Demand content, or listen to the Heart Songs recordings with their mobile devices, allowing users greater access to the educational resources and board prep from the American College of Cardiology.

  1. Register for ACC CardioSource Plus account via OVID
  2. Download the ACC Learn app to your device
  3. To log into the app, use username and password you created during registration

Note:

  • You must have logged in via Ovid to obtain CardioSource Plus entitlement for your personal acc.org account. 
  • Once installed and activated by the acc. org account,  you can download or stream the modules, provided you already started them from your desktop access to CardioSource
  • You must launch the course for the first access always from the desktop access to CardioSource Plus (via Ovid at least 1 time/year)
  • The app will only display courses that you are currently interacting with or previously accessed (and not expired). You cannot search using the app for new courses.
