Systematic Reviews Consultation Request

Please share as much information as you can. Having this information will assist the NMCSD Librarians with preparing for your consultation. To learn more about systematic reviews, see our Systematic Reviews: A How-To Guide.

After emailing us the consultation request form, a Librarian will contact you within a few days to schedule a meeting. 

Please include:

  • Your contact information​​​​​​
  • Do you prefer consultation in person or via Teams?
  • Plan to meet with the librarian for about half an hour. List two or three available times/days to meet
  • Literature search required by _______ (deadline). Please respect that we require a minimum of (2) weeks turnaround after the consultation to complete systematic review search requests.  .
  • Has a review on this topic already been published? If so, please provide the citation.
  • Systematic Review Topic - Please provide a detailed description of the subject of your review
  • The proposed purpose of this review is for: (Publication, Department Project, Other)
  • What type of review are you planning to conduct? (Systematic, Scoping, Rapid)
  • Please provide a minimum of TWO relevant articles that you have found in preliminary searches. Include enough information so the  librarian can locate them - for example, the PMID or DOI number, OR Author/Article Title/Journal/Year/Pages
  • Please provide the email addresses of at least TWO of your team members who will participate in the citation screening process. This is required so the librarian can share communications with the team. 
  • Any additional notes for the librarian about this request?
